This sensor is a PTC thermistor that changes its resistance depending on temperature in accordance with a defined curve. The KTY 84-130 temperature sensor can be used for monitoring the motor temperature for inverter operation.
Some inverters determine the motor temperature using the resistance of the temperature sensor. They can be set to a required temperature for alarm and disconnection.
